 Le coordinate sono quelle degli Strokes (ed epigoni), il suono garage, spruzzate di punk, in chiave pop-rock, ma il vuoto cosmico di idee è spesso imbarazzante.

 La cosa migliore sono le "code" dei pezzi: spesso in quei 30 secondi si trovano idee che se fossero state sviluppate meglio mi avrebbero di sicuro fatto alzare il voto finale.

 Ascolta Elevator per un rock vivace ma con qualche riserva, scopri le sfumature nascoste nelle tracce finali.

Hot Hot Heat sono una band indie rock canadese nata a Victoria (British Columbia) nel 1999. Hanno esordito su Sub Pop con Make Up the Breakdown, sono entrati nel mainstream con Elevator e i singoli Goodnight Goodnight e Middle of Nowhere, hanno pubblicato poi Happiness Ltd., Future Breeds e un ultimo album omonimo nel 2016.
