E' il secondo disco di Norah Jones, quella ragazza che ha fatto 17 milioni di copie con il suo debutto, Come away with me. Sono rimasto parecchio indeciso prima di comprarlo, anche perchè il genere è completamente diverso da ciò che ascolto di solito, e devo ammettere che all'inizio mi ha un po' scassato le palle. Ha cominciato a piacermi davvero dopo qualche ascolto in più, fino a conquistarmi del tutto: Norah canta da favola (e pure lei non è per niente male), gli arrangiamenti sono eccellenti, e i brani hanno tutti un bel fascino elegante e notturno: in prevalenza si tratta di ballad con pianoforte e chitarra, anche se non mancano brani più vivaci tipo Creepin In, dove la Jones duetta con Dolly Parton, una cantante country. Belle anche Those sweet words, Carnival Town e Humble Me.
In definitiva: un disco molto bello, ottimo per rilassarli e spezzare il tran tran quotidiano, anche se non lo consiglierei al metallaro più incallito.
