OM è il nome della nuova formazione derivata dalla vecchia parte ritmica dei leggendari Sleep, sulle scie di fumo e polvere lasciate via da Jerusalem il combo Cisneros/Hakius ridimenziona le coordinate per un nuovo sound ancora più visionario, e pensare che c' era gente che li credeva morti e sepolti.
"Variations on a Theme" è il loro progetto d' esordio, un lavoro eccezionale per chi dallo stoner più lisergico e dal Doom senza compromessi trae il proprio pane quotidiano, ma lasciando libero spazio a nuove sonorità e quindi anche all'impossibilità di essere catalogati in qualche genere. Ascoltandolo ripetutamente si riesce a raggiungere e a percepire echi desertici gelati da virate di monolitiche note basse distorte il quanto basta a restare immobili, mentre pelli e metalli non lasciano nessuno spazio.
Minimalismo. La voce sciamanica ci ancompagna in questo viaggio ai limiti del surreale, le tracce sono solo tre ma la durata è di circa 45 minuti buoni di malata Trance.
