The Spencer Davis Group

The Spencer Davis Group è un gruppo rock/R&B britannico formato a Birmingham nel 1963 da Spencer Davis con Steve Winwood, Muff Winwood e Pete York. Autori di hit come Keep On Running e Somebody Help Me (entrambe in vetta nel Regno Unito), oltre a Gimme Some Lovin' e I'm a Man, hanno definito il blue-eyed soul anni ’60. Steve Winwood lasciò nel 1967 per fondare i Traffic; la band si sciolse nel 1969 e si riformò brevemente nei primi anni ’70, pubblicando Gluggo e Living in a Back Street.
