"The Ultimate Sin", "L'ultimo Peccato", intrigante come titolo.
Secondo disco con Jake E.Lee, secondo semi-flop, anche se qui il lavoro si presenta un po' meglio di "Bark At The Moon" e un po' più orecchiabile.
Un disco di hark rock fondamentalmente, con cui Ozzy ontinua la sua carriera solista, senza infamia e senza lode.
Questo disco non ha delle doti particolari, ma al suo interno troviamo pezzi di grande manifattura, "Killers Of Giants" o la arcinota "Shot In The Dark", veramente bella (un po' troppo glam il video) ma grande canzone, e poi la stessa title track.
Non è che ci sia molto più da dire su quest'album, a parte il fatto che la collaborazione tra Ozzy e Jake ha dato frutti migliori rispetto all'inizio, e qui Jake ha dimostrato un bel po' del suo talento.
Il resto delle canzoni si presentano come normali (a tratti modesti) pezzi di hard rock, senza brillare troppo.
Quest'album in definitiva ha rilanciato Ozzy verso la longevità, anche se non è un capolavoro, e sicuramente lo ha ingranato un'altra marcia rispetto al lavoro precendente.
