Quantomeno è da sentire.
Si, trattasi dei Primal Scream di 'Screamadelica' e 'XTRMNTR' Solo che questo è il loro primo LP.
Ai tempi il buon Bob Gillespie evidentementemente ne aveva pieni i coglioni dei fratelli Reid (Jesus and Mary Chain) che fra l'altro si son messi a litigare fra di loro. Semplice feedback chitarristico sopra a pura melodia mielosa "english NME wanted". Un mezzo genio come Bob Gillespie poteva accontentarsi ? Si se non avesse avuto i coglioni ma visto che li ha ha preferito abbandonare la nave dei J&MC e provare a fare di testa sua.
Si unisce a uncerto Jim NavaJo - 12 string lead giutar e prova : il risultato è il suddetto disco: fresco, anche ingenuo se vuoi, style english psichedelic beat sulle orme degli Electric Prunes (americani). Vabbe' comunque sia questo è il miglior LP dei Primal Scream. Si è vero poi hanno "osato" con 'Screamadelica' e 'XMNTR'.
Ho un immagine di Bob che entra con il suo gruppo nella sala del Bloom Di Mezzago (periodo dopo il secondo Lp ) nervoso, si guarda attorno tipo schifato, insoddisfatto. Questo è il personaggio: mai fermo gli vai a parlare del suo primo LP ti sputa in faccia. Grande Bob.
