 La prima cosa da dire è che a occuparsi della voce è il chitarrista Miika Tenkula che sfodera un ottimo growl che nulla ha da invidiare a quello di ben più blasonati urlatori.

 Un gran bel esordio dunque che lancia il nome del gruppo tra quelli che contano e che dà il via ad una carriera dedita, almeno agli inizi, all’evoluzione.

Sentenced sono una band metal finlandese nata a Oulu nel 1989: dagli esordi death metal hanno progressivamente virato verso un sound gothic/rock melodico. Hanno concluso la loro carriera nel 2005 con The Funeral Album. Il chitarrista e principale compositore Miika Tenkula è scomparso nel 2009.
