Styx è una rock band di Chicago nata nei primi anni ’70, celebre per il mix di AOR e influssi progressive, cori stratificati e tastiere in primo piano. Ha toccato l’apice commerciale e creativo a fine anni ’70 (The Grand Illusion, Pieces of Eight, Paradise Theatre), è passata per hit pop come Babe (Cornerstone) e ha continuato tra pause e ripartenze fino ai recenti The Mission (2017), Crash of the Crown (2021) e Circling From Above.
