Al giorno d'oggi i Prodigy sono una delle technoband più importanti in circolazione visto che hanno spopolato in lungo e in largo con "The Fat Of The Land", arrivando primi in classifica in 23 paesi contemporaneamente. Ma non tutti sanno che all'inizio della loro carriera artistica erano dei grandissimi trascinatori ai rave party, ed "Experience" pubblicato nel 1992 era la loro conferma musicale.
All'epoca avevano tutti e quattro un ruolo diverso nella band: Keith Flint era solo un ballerino (e che ballerino!) e Maxim Reality un discreto MC. Comunque Liam Howlett era già un genio!
L'album è un piccolo gioiellino dell'epoca. Un testamento musicale che ancora al giorno d'oggi i membri della band portano con loro in tour.
All'epoca uscirono come singoli: "Charly", "Out Of Space", "Everybody In The Place" e "Fire". Insomma un inizio col botto anche se il vero successo uscì con "Music For The Jilted Generation" e la consacrazione a livello mondiale con "The Fat Of The Land".
La suite dura complessivamente quasi 59 minuti e le tracce sono 12 se vogliamo considerare l'ultimo pezzo che è un live "Death Of The Prodigy Dancer", ma non per questo ho voluto dare tre stelle su cinque. Il voto a questa recensione l'ho decisa non solo in base al buon contenuto del cd ma anche in base al livello di maturità del gruppo che verrà confermato solo con i due successivi album.
Da consigliare solamente agli appassionati del genere!
