Tra i pionieri dello Swedish death insieme a Entombed, Dismember e Grave, hanno costruito una carriera coerente su tematiche norrene e un suono diretto e battagliero, con una pausa tra il 1997 e il 2002 e un ritorno costante sui palchi e in studio.
