 Il più importante dei quali fu senza dubbio l’innesto della chitarrista Charlotte Hatherley, chiamata a dare più sostanza al sound del gruppo.

 Per scrollarsi il peso del successo di ‘1977’ Tim Wheeler & co. strinsero l’occhio a sonorità prevalentemente lo-fi grazie anche alla produzione di Owen Morris.

Band rock nordirlandese formata a Downpatrick nel 1992 da Tim Wheeler, Mark Hamilton e Rick McMurray; in formazione dal 1997 al 2006 anche Charlotte Hatherley. Successo internazionale con 1977 e Free All Angels; fase più dura con Meltdown; scelta di pubblicare singoli con l’A-Z Series (2009–2010), poi ritorno agli album con Kablammo! (2015) e Islands (2018). Nel 2020 la raccolta Teenage Wildlife celebra i 25 anni di carriera.
