Formalmente questo album è un bootleg, ma quando andiamo ad ascoltarlo ci rendiamo conto che è una registrazione tra il pubblico per modo di dire. Il disco è una perla e potrebbe benissimo essere un album ufficiale.
Dopo aver lasciato i Black Sabbath, Dio forma la sua band personale che avrà grande successo negli anni a venire. Nel sabba nero rimane però un vuoto, che presto viene colmato dal piu grande cantante della storia del rock, ovvero Ian Gillan. Tony Iommi ha la grande idea di chiamarlo nel gruppo, a sostituire il folletto. Presto esce un album con il cantante dei Deep Purple, ovvero Born Again, che a mio parere è uno degli album piu' belli dell'intera discografia dei Black. Comunque a seguito dell'album i quattro (cinque piu il tastierista) vanno negli U.S.A in tour, e proprio dal concerto di Worchester è tratto questo bootleg bellissimo.
L'album parte con il superclassico "Children of the grave" cantata divinamente da Ian, che a seguire presenta uno dei nuovi brani, ovvero "Hot Line", tratto dal nuovo album; la canzone è eseguita molto velocemente come quella in studio e all'interno troviamo un assolo divino di Iommi. La terza traccia è l'immortale "War pigs" dove Ian sforna degli urli spaventosi,che rendono la traccia ancora piu coinvolgente, ma non abbiamo neanche tempo di respirare perchè il drumming letale di "Iron Man" attacca selvaggiamente ed ero proprio curioso di scoprire questa canzone con Ian alla voce: beh, è davvero spettacolare, una delle mie versioni preferite del gruppo. "Zero the hero", una delle nuove canzoni, è la meno riuscita dell'album, ma non conta piu di tanto dato che a seguire cè una stupefacente versione di "Digital Bitch" articolata in un modo assurdo, riportandoci lentamente alle origini dato che Ian annuncia "Black Sabbath"... CHE VERSIONE LIVE, RAGAZZI!!!!!!!! davvero incredibile, con quei continui scream che non lasciano pace. Un minutino di pausa per riprendere fiato a fine brano, e invece no, cosa mi suonano loro?! "Smoke On The Water" il superclassico dei Deep, in una versione piu metallara del solito, ma comunque bellissima perchè inaspettata. C'è anche tempo per il classico dell'era Dio, ovvero "Heaven And Hell"che è la mia traccia preferita del disco, perchè il pubblico è davvero presente, li a due passi, che canta e urla! "Heaven and Hell" si blocca e lascia spazio a " Paranoid" , come al solito traccia conclusiva dei concerti dei Black Sabbath. A dire il vero quest'ultimo brano è un medley perchè Paranoid si interrompe di nuovo concludendosi col riff della canzone precedente, e naturalmente fra le urla del pubblico!
Un bootleg davvero emozionante che non merita davvero questa classificazione, sia per l'audio ottimo sia per la bellezza delle song. Il mio voto è un 10 pieno! A presto debaseriani!
