Un tizio chiama quattro ragazzi di bell'aspetto e decide che diventeranno famosi: fin qui nessun problema. I problemi nascono quando si scopre che il “tizio” è un boss di una casa discografica e che per avere successo i ragazzi devono usare la musica. Dico "usare" perché questi qui non credo proprio vogliano comporre della musica, ma semplicemente con la musica trovare qualche ragazza da trombarsi e potersi sentire importanti.
La musica non la sanno neanche fare: li avete mai visti con in braccio una chitarra? Ma stiamo scherzando??? Coprirebbero la marca della nuova maglietta che devono sponsorizzare! Loro si limitano a cantare brani che qualcun altro a fatto loro su misura perché sfondino. Ce li vedete lì chiusi in una stanza mentre provano e riprovano nuovi arrangiamenti musicali, senza mangiare né fare pause? Ma vah, loro sono in giro a fare shopping e fare gli autografi alle ragazze nelle vie più famose di Londra, di Milano o di Parigi: aspettano che quelli della casa discografica si sbrighino a fare le LORO canzoni (strana 'sta frase) per soddisfare il pubblico che ormai li considera "la band rivelazione degli ultimi 3 anni".
Almeno non la chiamino "musica"....non capisco, 26 lettere dell’alfabeto e questi devono proprio chiamare quella cosa che fanno in questo modo?? Così vengono messi nello stesso campo i Radiohead, i Muse, i Coldplay e i Blue. Ok, c’è qualcosina che non va. Se solo la chiamassero in modo diverso riuscirei a ignorarli.

Un album assolutamente da avere, si possono trovare canzoni molto lente e dolci come Guilty o Breathe Easy.
Il duetto con Stevie Wonder e Angie Stone è una delle cose migliori che si possa sentire.
