Buddy Holly (Charles Hardin Holley, Lubbock 1936 – Clear Lake 1959) è stato un pioniere del rock’n’roll e del rockabilly. Con i Crickets e il produttore Norman Petty ha firmato classici come That’ll Be the Day, Peggy Sue ed Everyday, influenzando Beatles ed Everly Brothers, prima della morte in un incidente aereo nel 1959.
