Elisa è giunta al quinto album e con questo dà il meglio di sé regalandoci 10 perle destinate (spero) a tutto il resto del mondo... l'internazionalità di queste canzoni è data anche dalla presenza, in veste di produttore e co-autore, di Glen Ballard che in passato ha lavorato con Alanis Morissette e di recente con Anastacia.
Premetto che in questo album non ci sono canzoni che prevaricano su altre, sono tutte bellissime, alcune hanno un suono più duro come il singolo "Together" mentre altre sono delle ballate da far venire i brividi come "City Lights" (ascoltatela da soli nel buio della vostra stanza e al ritornello una lacrima scenderà di sicuro).
Questa volta devo dire solo: "Elisa è Elisa", ha acquistato una maturità ed identità artistica tale da non permettermi più di paragonarla alla Morissette o a Björk.
Consiglio quest'album perchè vale la pena investire 20 euro per un cd che trasuda emozioni da ogni singola traccia e che certamente vi farà compagnia per molto molto tempo.

Ancora una volta la piccola cantante di Monfalcone è riuscita ad incantare ed ipnotizzare, mediante la voce suadente, testi poetici scritti con il cuore e la sua grande interpretazione.
Pearl Days è un vero e proprio inno alla vita, nonostante la difficile situazione internazionale.
