Giunti miracolosamente sotto i riflettori della scena "alternativa" internazionale (mah...), probabilmente aiutati in buona parte dal fenomeno Myspace, gli Enter Shikari rilasciano finalmente nel 2007 un vero e proprio Full-Lenght (dopo qualche EP e le solite canzoni su Myspace).
Ciò che ha garantito la fortuna di questa band è indubbiamente l'inusuale mix tra sintetizzatori anni '80 a manetta spalmati con insistenza su delle quadrate fondamenta di metalcore/post-hardcore. La cosa divertente (dipende dai punti di vista) è che proprio la componente metalcore anche se pur sempre decente non brilla certo per creatività, brillantezza o vivacità, eppure l'alchimia con l'elettronica è tale da rendere più che appetibile (per chi segue il genere) un prodotto altresì scadente. D'altronde dire che questo disco senza sintetizzatori sarebbe una cacca è come dire che Buffon senza mani non varrebbe un soldo bucato... insomma un discorso che lascia il tempo che trova.
E quindi lode al travolgente duo "Enter Shikari"/"Mothership" - i due pezzi più tirati del disco - alla festaiola e ritmata "Sorry You're Not A Winner" (con tanto di hand-claps), al ritornello stucchevole ma dannatamente appiccicoso di "Ok, Time For Plan B", insomma lode agli Enter Shikari per essere riusciti a fare di una sola buona idea la loro fortuna. E se non se la meritano, chissene importa.
