Gorguts sono una band canadese di technical/avant‑garde death metal formata nel 1989 e guidata da Luc Lemay. Hanno pubblicato album fondamentali per l’evoluzione del death metal, tra cui Obscura e Colored Sands. Dopo una pausa a metà anni 2000, sono tornati in attività pubblicando nuovo materiale.
