Sino a poco tempo fa ignoravo completamente chi fossero i "Kyuss" e conoscevo appena meglio i "Queens of the Stone Age" e ho colmato questa lacuna per merito di qualche sapientone di "DeBaser", che ringrazio, dopo aver recensito (qui) il primo e unico (per il momento, spero) album omonimo pubblicato dai "Them Crookes Vultures" nel 2010. Quindi mi sono comprato "Wretch" e ho scaricato a sbafo tutto il resto.
Di un disco del genere sarà già stato detto di tutto e di più. Per cui non so da dove iniziare per scrivere una recensione degna di questo nome, e potrei finirla qui.
Semplicemente invito chi non l'abbia ancora fatto ad ascoltare questo album e a fare altrettanto con il resto della loro discografia. E aggiungo che questo "Sky Valley" è il migliore fra i loro dischi, compreso "Blues for the Red Sun", semplicemente perché nel secondo non si trovano canzoni come "Gardenia", "Asteroid" e "Odyssey".
Il mio intento è quello di creare una discussione sulle vostre preferenze per i dischi dei "Kyuss" e di ottenere magari qualche nuova dritta.
