 Già questo basterebbe per fare del ragazzo il mio eroe personale e per firmare ad occhi chiusi un’ipotetica petizione per ergergli un monumento.

 Mono è un una canzone di oltre sei minuti, che contiene al suo interno un crescendo epico di emozioni e pathos, ed è indubbiamente quella più legata al prog e al post-rock. Da ascoltare assolutamente almeno una volta nella vita.

I Fightstar sono una band britannica alternative rock/post-hardcore formata a Londra da Charlie Simpson (voce, chitarra, piano) con Alex Westaway (chitarra, voci), Dan Haigh (basso) e Omar Abidi (batteria). Hanno esordito con l’EP They Liked You Better When You Were Dead (2005) e pubblicato gli album Grand Unification (2006), One Day Son, This Will All Be Yours (2007), Be Human (2009) e Behind the Devil’s Back (2015).
