Skip James

Nehemiah Curtis "Skip" James (1902–1969) è un bluesman nato nei pressi di Bentonia, Mississippi. Registrò le sue prime incisioni per la Paramount a Grafton nel 1931 e venne riscoperto nel 1964, incidendo per la Vanguard fino alla sua morte nel 1969. È noto per il suo falsetto, il fingerpicking e l'uso di tonalità minori.
