L'heavy metal nacque nel 1980 con la pubblicazione di "back in black".
Pero arrivo nel 1988 usci l'album dei manowar da tanti considerato capolavoro io non gli ascoltati tutti ma dico che questo e un ottimo album sicuramente ha fatto la storia della musica.
Ci sono le canzoni l'iniziale whells on fire che spiega l'amore dei motori per i Manowar, segue la mitica kings of metal grandissima canzone, segnalera anche la mitica hearts of stell.
Dopo arriva la canzone che a lasciato il mondo in merda the crown and ring registrata nella capella dove è stato sposato carlo d'inghilterra canzoni da cori vichingi.
Altre canzoni degne di nota sono hail and kill la canzone piu famosa del gruppo è la finale blood of the kings fu accusati di nazismo per il ritornello back to germany.
Sicuramente questa band non è fascista sono dei metallari puri e duri che hanno inventato l'epic metal con il loro secondo album "into glory ride" e fuso con l'heavy metal in questo album

Heart Of Steel è incredibilmente emotiva ed intensa, una delle più grandi Metal-ballad mai composte.
Aldilà della loro immagine e del loro atteggiamento discutibili i Manowar restano una grande band.

Quello che ci viene proposto da Joey DeMaio e Co. è un metal possente, energico e naturalmente epico al 100%.
La titletrack, un vero inno per i "re del metallo", con un ritornello davvero trascinante.
