Michael Schenker Group è una band hard rock/heavy metal formata nel 1979 dal chitarrista tedesco Michael Schenker, dopo gli anni con UFO (e gli esordi con gli Scorpions). I primi anni vedono Gary Barden alla voce e, tra gli altri, Cozy Powell, Chris Glen e Ted McKenna in formazione. Con Graham Bonnet arriva Assault Attack (1982); seguono Built to Destroy (1983) e i live storici come One Night at Budokan e Rock Will Never Die.
