The Triffids sono una band rock australiana nata a Perth nel 1978 e guidata da David McComb. Hanno unito post‑punk, folk e indie in album culto come Born Sandy Devotional (1986), Calenture (1987) e The Black Swan (1989). Si sono sciolti nel 1989; McComb è scomparso nel 1999.
