Cantautrice e cantante inglese, voce di punta del folk britannico. Membro dei Fairport Convention, fondò i Fotheringay e pubblicò acclamati album solisti. Autrice di Who Knows Where the Time Goes?, ha duettato con Robert Plant in The Battle of Evermore. È scomparsa nel 1978 a 31 anni.
