Scritti Politti sono un gruppo britannico fondato alla fine dei ’70 attorno a Green Gartside. Dal post‑punk DIY su Rough Trade al pop sintetico levigato di metà anni ’80, hanno firmato hit come Wood Beez, Absolute, The Word Girl e Perfect Way. In seguito sono tornati con Anomie & Bonhomie (1999) e White Bread Black Beer (2006). Il nome deriva dai “Scritti Politici” di Antonio Gramsci.
