Gli Slayer sono stati una band thrash metal statunitense nata nel 1981 a Huntington Park, Los Angeles. Ritenuti tra i fondatori del thrash insieme a Metallica, Anthrax e Megadeth, hanno scritto pagine fondamentali per la musica estrema con album come Reign In Blood, South Of Heaven e Seasons In The Abyss. Celebri per i loro testi controversi e l’impatto sonoro devastante, si sono sciolti nel 2019.
