Quella che sto per recensire è l'ultimo singolo degli slipknot, "All Hope Is Gone". I 'knot tornano sulla scena musicale a 4 anni dall'ultimo album, "Vol.3 (The Subliminal Verses)", album che ha diviso in due i fan a causa di un cambiamento di stile, infatti l'album è molto più melodico rispetto ai precedenti "Iowa" e "Slipknot".
Ma ora veniamo al singolo. La canzone "All Hope Is Gone" sembra un ritorno al vecchio stile, soprattutto a quello di "Iowa", ma per giudicare è meglio aspettare l'uscita dell'album che è prevista per Luglio/Agosto. La canzone inizia subito molto forte con una parte strumentale molto aggressiva. Dopo circa 40 secondi inizia il canto di Corey che come ho detto è molto simile a quello di "Iowa". Nel ritornello si rivedono gli Slipknot dell'ultimo album, comunque il ritornello è davvero molto bello, forse la parte migliore della canzone. Dopo il ritornello c'è un assolo di chitarra davvero ben fatto. La canzone va avanti così tra sempre molto potente.
In definitiva davvero un bel singolo, impreziosito dal gia' citato assolo di chitarra. Se l'album sarà tutto come "All Hope Is Gone" c'è da aspettarsi uno dai migliori album dei 'knot

All Hope Is Gone è una vera meraviglia per le orecchie, bello da cantare a squarciagola e perfetto per l'headbanging.
L'esperienza ha fatto fare passi da gigante ai 9 mascherati, capaci di creare pezzi che non annoiano, sono definitivamente METAL!

Snuff... uno dei gioielli dell’album, ballad senza precedenti nella storia del gruppo.
Questo album è davvero ottimo, il migliore della band, e non mi pento di essermi fiondato il giorno in cui è uscito.
