Suffocation

Suffocation è una band death metal statunitense formata nel 1988 a Long Island (New York). Tra i pionieri del brutal e del technical death metal, hanno influenzato generazioni di gruppi con esordi come Human Waste (1991) ed Effigy of the Forgotten (1991). Dopo lo scioglimento del 1998, sono tornati attivi dal 2002, pubblicando tra gli altri Pierced From Within (1995) e Souls to Deny (2004).
