The Get Up Kids sono una band emo/indie rock di Kansas City, formata nel 1995. Punti di riferimento del Midwest emo, hanno esordito con Four Minute Mile (1997) e raggiunto un ampio riconoscimento con Something to Write Home About (1999). Sciolti nel 2005 e riuniti dal 2008, hanno pubblicato tra gli altri There Are Rules (2011), l’EP Kicker (2018) e Problems (2019).
