Gruppo rock britannico nato a Birmingham nel 1964. Dopo l’esordio R&B con “Go Now” e The Magnificent Moodies, dal 1967 sviluppa un originale rock sinfonico/proto‑prog con “Days of Future Passed” (con la London Festival Orchestra) e brani iconici come “Nights in White Satin”. Formazione classica: Justin Hayward, John Lodge, Mike Pinder, Ray Thomas, Graeme Edge.
