Theatre of Tragedy sono un gruppo di Stavanger (Norvegia) attivo dal 1993 al 2010. Considerati pionieri del “beauty and the beast metal”, hanno esordito con un doom/gothic dalle liriche in inglese arcaico, per poi sperimentare sonorità elettroniche/industrial a inizio 2000 e tornare a toni più gotici nella fase finale. Voci chiave: Raymond I. Rohonyi e Liv Kristine (poi sostituita da Nell Sigland).
