Twisted Sister è una band hard rock/heavy metal nata a New York e guidata dal carismatico frontman Dee Snider, entrato nel gruppo dopo la fondazione di Jay Jay French. Il successo internazionale arriva con Stay Hungry (1984) e gli inni We’re Not Gonna Take It e I Wanna Rock. Dopo lo scioglimento nel 1988 e varie reunion, l’attività live si è conclusa nel 2016.
