I Cranes sono una band britannica formata a Portsmouth da Alison e Jim Shaw. Emersi a fine anni ’80 con un suono tra dream pop ed etereo, si sono affermati nei ’90 con Wings of Joy, Forever e Loved. Hanno suonato in apertura ai The Cure e nel 2008 hanno pubblicato l’album omonimo, orientato a un’elettronica minimale.
