Devo è una band new wave statunitense formatasi ad Akron (Ohio) nel 1973. Celebre per la teoria della de‑evoluzione, l’estetica multimediale e l’uso di elettronica, ha esordito con Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo! (1978, prod. Brian Eno) e raggiunto il grande pubblico con Freedom of Choice (1980) e la hit Whip It. Dopo una pausa negli anni ’90, è tornata con Something for Everybody (2010).
