 L'amalgama suona perfetta, ogni pezzo va al suo posto e contribuisce a creare un'atmosfera decadente e malata che tanto si appoggia anche ad un certo romanticismo in arte e letteratura.

Draconian sono un gruppo gothic/doom metal svedese formatosi a Säffle nel 1994, noto per il dualismo vocale tra il growl di Anders Jacobsson e la voce femminile (storicamente Lisa Johansson; in seguito Heike Langhans). Hanno pubblicato per Napalm Records album di riferimento come Arcane Rain Fell e Where Lovers Mourn.
