Fountains of Wayne è una band power pop statunitense fondata nel 1995 da Chris Collingwood e Adam Schlesinger. Attivi fino al 2013, hanno pubblicato album di culto come Utopia Parkway e Welcome Interstate Managers, da cui esplode la hit Stacy’s Mom. Schlesinger è anche autore di That Thing You Do! per l’omonimo film di Tom Hanks.
