Mercyful Fate

Mercyful Fate sono una band heavy metal danese formata a Copenaghen nel 1981 da King Diamond e Hank Shermann. Con liriche occulte e il falsetto teatrale di King, hanno influenzato il primo black metal. Dopo due album seminali negli anni ’80, si sono sciolti, riuniti nei ’90 e sono tornati sui palchi dal 2019.
