LCD Soundsystem è una band statunitense fondata a New York da James Murphy (co‑fondatore di DFA Records). Ha unito dance‑punk, elettronica e indie rock, pubblicando album acclamati come LCD Soundsystem, Sound of Silver, This Is Happening e American Dream. Si è sciolta nel 2011 dopo un concerto d’addio al Madison Square Garden, per poi riunirsi nel 2015.
