Cantautore statunitense (1969–2003), già nei Heatmiser e poi solista. Autore di album fondamentali come Either/Or, XO e Figure 8; candidato all’Oscar 1998 con Miss Misery per Good Will Hunting. È morto a Los Angeles nel 2003 per ferite da arma da taglio; il medico legale classificò la modalità della morte come indeterminata.
