Aretha Franklin

Aretha Franklin (1942–2018) è stata una cantante statunitense, soprannominata “Queen of Soul”. Cresciuta nel gospel, ha definito il soul e l’R&B con interpretazioni iconiche come Respect, Think, (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman e I Say a Little Prayer. Nel 1967 passò alla Atlantic, periodo in cui pubblicò classici come I Never Loved a Man the Way I Love You e Lady Soul. Prima donna introdotta nella Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (1987), vincitrice di numerosi Grammy.
