 Hey Lloyd, I’m ready to be heartbroken! e noi glielo spacchiamo sto cuore, altrimenti sarà lei a rompercelo.

 Sostanzialmente è un disco fatto di ballate mid/down-tempo cantate con tono imbronciato ed un po’ svogliato, con arrangiamenti molto ricchi, ma essendo pop mai troppo articolati.

Camera Obscura sono una band indie pop/twee di Glasgow formata nel 1996 e guidata da Tracyanne Campbell. Celebri per il gusto retrò anni ’60, arrangiamenti con archi/fiati e melodie malinconiche, hanno pubblicato album come Underachievers Please Try Harder (2003), Let's Get Out of This Country (2006), My Maudlin Career (2009, 4AD), Desire Lines (2013) e Look To The East, Look To The West (2024). Hanno inciso sessioni per la BBC/John Peel; la tastierista Carey Lander è scomparsa nel 2015.
