The Pentangle sono un gruppo britannico formato nel 1967 da Bert Jansch e John Renbourn con Jacqui McShee, Danny Thompson e Terry Cox. Hanno fuso folk, jazz e blues, pubblicando album fondamentali come Sweet Child e Basket of Light prima dello scioglimento nei primi anni ’70 e di successive reunion.
