Overkill è una band thrash metal statunitense formata nel 1980 nel New Jersey da Bobby “Blitz” Ellsworth (voce) e D.D. Verni (basso). Pionieri dell’East Coast thrash, sono noti per un suono rapido e tagliente e per una carriera ininterrotta con album di riferimento come The Years of Decay e Horrorscope, fino alla rinascita 2010 con Ironbound. Nel 2023 è uscito Scorched.
