Saint Vitus

Saint Vitus sono un gruppo doom di Los Angeles, fondato nel 1979 (inizialmente come Tyrant). Influenzati da Black Sabbath e Blue Cheer, hanno definito un suono lento, oscuro e fuzzoso. La prima fase vede Scott Reagers alla voce con Dave Chandler (chitarra), Mark Adams (basso) e Armando Acosta (batteria); in seguito arriva Scott “Wino” Weinrich. Negli anni ’80 pubblicano per la SST e restano band di culto. Dopo la scomparsa di Acosta (2010), Henry Vasquez entra alla batteria; nel 2012 esce Lillie: F-65.
