The Books sono un duo di collage elettroacustico e folktronica formato da Nick Zammuto e Paul de Jong a New York. Debuttano nel 2002 con Thought for Food su Tomlab, proseguono con The Lemon of Pink (2003) e Lost and Safe (2005), quindi The Way Out (2010) su Temporary Residence. Attivi tra 1999 e 2012, uniscono strumenti acustici, laptop e voci d’archivio.
