The Crown sono un gruppo death/thrash svedese nato nel 1990 come Crown of Thorns (nome cambiato per omonimia). Hanno pubblicato classici come Deathrace King e Crowned in Terror (con Thomas Lindberg alla voce), poi riedito come Crowned Unholy con Johan Lindstrand. Sciolti nel 2004 e riformati dal 2009, hanno proseguito con dischi come Doomsday King, Death Is Not Dead, Cobra Speed Venom e Royal Destroyer.
