The Go-Betweens sono una band indie australiana nata a Brisbane nel 1978 attorno ai cantautori Robert Forster e Grant McLennan. Dopo una stagione di album acclamati negli anni ’80, si sono sciolti nel 1989, riformandosi nel 2000 per tre dischi. L’avventura si è chiusa nel 2006 con la scomparsa di McLennan.
