The Groundhogs

The Groundhogs sono un gruppo blues rock inglese guidato dal chitarrista e cantante Tony (T.S.) McPhee. Nati nei primi anni ’60, hanno affiancato John Lee Hooker in tour e raggiunto l’apice tra 1970 e 1972 con gli album Thank Christ for the Bomb, Split e Who Will Save the World?, intrecciando blues duro, psichedelia e slanci proto-progressive. Attivi con varie formazioni fino al 2014.
