Ho aspettato 7 anni per questo album e cosa ho avuto tra le mani? Di sicuro un lavoro mediocre e la serie di inediti più scarsa che hanno fatto!
Leeroy se ne è andato ma poco importa (trattasi dell'elemento meno importante del gruppo ). Cavolo però come ballava! 7 anni di litigi. 7 anni di indecisioni e di continui cambiamenti.
"Baby's Got A Temper" è stata cancellata perchè ritenuta da Howlett troppo simile alle tracks di "The Fat Of The Land". Proprio lui che non voleva ripetere una seconda volta il sound del suo passato. La nota che più mi ha colpito in questo lavoro è stata la totale assenza di Maxim e Keith Flint (presenti solamente nei live) e la partecipazione della cantante-attrice Juliette Lewis, degli Oasis, Twista e della rapper Princess Superstar.
Non c'è dubbio che le canzoni migliori sono quelle cantate dalle signorine: "Spitfire", "Girls", "Memphis Bells " e "Hotride ". Infatti è la prima volta che in un loro lavoro gira quasi tutto al femminile, ma nel compenso rimane pur sempre una sorta di marmellata techno ed elettroclash. Buone le prime che vanno dirette all'ascoltatore con degli ottimi ritmi martellanti ma nella fase centrale dell'album si rischia di annoiarsi. Oltre alle canzoni citate prima si salvano nella fase finale solo "Medusa's Path " (intensa ed ipnotica) e "You'll Be Under My Whells" (semplice e godibile).
Nel frattempo si spera in un glorioso ritorno!

Secondo me non deluderà i loro fans, anche se sembra un disco un po' diverso rispetto al precedente.

Quei Prodigy erano un fenomeno che, per quanto di breve durata ma di altissima intensità, aveva fatto apparire obsoleto tutto ciò che si ascoltava prima.
Un disco da ascoltare con 3-4 gran bei pezzi e qualcun altro perlomeno interessante e curioso: ma dove sono Keith e Maxim?
