Ho aspettato 5 lunghissimi anni per questo maledetto cd e tutto speravo per un ritorno diverso, magari ad una svolta musicale e invece i Prodigy ritornano sui vecchi passi. Certo, "Invaders Must Die" non presenta novità per quanto riguarda il sound, ma almeno non hanno dimenticato quello che sanno fare. Tutto sommato colpisce la sua semplicità: 11 tracce per poco più di 45 minuti, dove tutto è inarrestabile e godereccio; l'esatto contrario di "Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned" che era quasi un mattone da digerire.
Inarrestabile e godereccio: un album divertente sicuramente con alcuni pezzi che potrebbero scalare le classifiche di tutto il mondo; l'unica pecca che tutto questo sembra sia buttato un pò cosi (insomma non è che si siano spremuti le meningi per farlo!). Però si può dire che funziona! Lo classifico come un rimasuglio "Big Beat" di 7 o 8 anni fa. Almeno hanno partorito un album superiore rispetto agli amici "Chemical Brothers".
Chiarisco subito che non si tratta di un album come "The Fat Of The Land" (è troppo avanti), ma non è neanche come "Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned" che è un pochino scarso. Techno-violenza allo stato brado: fra "Warrior's Dance" che vi farà ripensare ai bei vecchi anni '90 e "World's On Fire" che vi istigherà al fomento; poi se ci mettete "Omen", "Thunder" e "Take Me To The Hospital" il gioco è fatto.
La ricetta migliore è quella con i bassi a manetta e la capoccia sconnessa perchè alla fine vi piacerà!

Il prodigio è tornato per rompervi i timpani e farvi muovere quei fottuti culi per un bel periodo.
Un disco decisamente godibile, forse non un capolavoro ma con i suoni che li hanno consacrati come imperatori dell’elettronica violenta.
